About Us
Ages 3–5: A Magical First Step
At Sparger Performing Arts, our youngest performers are introduced to the stage through play, imagination, and joyful movement. Designed for ages 3 to 5, our early childhood programs help little ones build confidence, coordination, and communication skills in a nurturing, no-pressure environment. From twirling to storytelling, each class is filled with age-appropriate activities that spark creativity while gently introducing the structure of performing arts. It’s the perfect way to channel their energy, grow their confidence, and plant the seed for a lifelong love of the arts.
Ages 6–8: Exploring the Spotlight
At this stage, kids are bursting with curiosity—and we’re here for it. Our programs for ages 6 to 8 are designed to channel that energy into creativity, teamwork, and foundational performing arts skills. Whether they’re learning lines, picking up choreography, or discovering the power of their voice, students explore the stage in a fun, encouraging environment that balances structure with imagination. We help them build confidence, improve focus, and discover just how exciting it is to be part of something bigger than themselves—on and off the stage.
Ages 8–10: Building Skills & Self-Expression
At ages 8 to 10, students are ready to dive deeper—and we’re ready to guide them. Our programs at this level focus on developing technical skills in acting, voice, and movement, while still keeping the joy and creativity at the heart of every class. Kids begin to take more ownership of their performances, learning how to collaborate, take direction, and express themselves with growing confidence. Whether they’re preparing for their first real production or just discovering a love for the arts, we create a space where passion and progress go hand in hand.
Ages 10–13: Growing Into Greatness
In the 10 to 13 age range, students are ready to stretch themselves—creatively, emotionally, and artistically. Our classes help them strengthen core techniques in acting, singing, and dance while diving deeper into character work, stage presence, and ensemble collaboration. This is a transformative stage where kids start to connect the dots between effort and excellence, discovering how powerful their voices can be—on stage and in life. Whether they’re preparing for bigger roles or simply learning to trust their instincts, we create a space where talent is nurtured and individuality is celebrated.
Ages 13–18: Ready for the Spotlight
For students ages 13 to 18, this is where passion meets purpose. Whether they’re pursuing the arts seriously or simply love to perform, our teen programs offer a deeper, more disciplined training ground. We focus on refining technique, building performance portfolios, and cultivating leadership both on and off the stage. Through advanced classes, audition prep, and full-scale productions, students gain real-world experience in a supportive, ensemble-based environment. It’s more than just training—it’s a launchpad for confident, capable artists who are ready to step into the spotlight and own it.
Our Mission & Vision
The Sparger Performing Arts Center will serve as a cultural hub, enriching the Metro East community by addressing a significant gap: the lack of accessible, high-quality performing arts training for aspiring performers, as well as behind-the-scenes professionals.
